RAND WATER PROJECTS

  • Mbuzini: Construction of 3 Km Bulk Line, and Refurbishment of 2Ml WTW, and Construction of 1Ml Ground Reservoir at Mbuzini village, and Construction of 0.4ml Elevated Reservoir at Ndindindi Village.
  • Masibekela: Upgrading of Rising Main Pipeline and Extension of Water Reticulation.
  • Priority Pipelines: MPS replace 1.5 Km of K3 Pipeline.
  • Design, supply, delivery, Installation, Commissioning and Put into the operation of electrically operated valve actuators, actuator extension, and submersible pumps at Palmiet Pumping station Reservoirs.
  • Design, supply, delivery, installation and put into service of twenty-nine (29) electric valve actuators complete with gearboxes, actuator extensions, fittings, and eight (8) electric motor-driven submersible pumps at Rand Water Hartebeeshoek, Brakfontein, and Klipfontein reservoirs valve chambers. Electric actuators installations on currently or operating valves.
  • The construction of the N7/N8 and M11 steel pipelines including earthworks, pipelaying, and associated works – M11A.
  • Design, supply, delivery, installation and put into service of the Lime, Silica, Polyelectrolyte, and Chlorine Dosing Plants at Rand Water’s Zuikerbosch Station 5A.
  • Zuikerbosch Automation Upgrade project – Emergency Project for the upgrade by, Supplying, Delivering, installing, commissioning and putting into Service of PLCs, HMIs and Associated Equipment in Chlorine 4A, Chlorine 4B and Raw Water ER4 at Zuikerbosch Pumping Station, Works Area 2.
  • Supply and installation of backup sacrificial anode cathodic protection system for Rand Water pipelines in the South, East, West, and North rand regions.
  • Remote monitoring of cathodic protection at all Rand water sites.
  • Bulk water distribution telemetry upgrade at all Rand Water sites.
  • Supply and installation of a backup cathodic protection system for Rand Water pipelines in the Eastern region of Mapleton System
